Classic Car News: The Classic Jensen Is Revived
Recharged and ready for action, the classic Jensen Interceptor has been given a new lease of life thanks to the financial backing of Carphone Warehouse founder Charles Dunstone. The entrepreneur has joined the "board of Jensen International Automotive after investing in the company which is re-launching the classic Jensen Interceptor marquee of the 1970's", according to the Telegraph website.
Using the time honoured tradition of adding an S onto the name to revive the old name makes these classic cars the Jensen Interceptor ‘S'. PistonHeads.com reports that these vintage motors have been "sufficiently modified to make them a much more modern proposition", but still maintaining the classic characteristics.
For those people who aren't petrol heads, the name Jensen makes you think of speed-thrilling hunky F1 racing driver Jenson Button, but in fact we're talking about the dream car of the 60's and 70's. According to Jensen-cars.co.uk, the sleek iconic looks of the Jensen put it in a different league back in its day and is on track to do it all over again, but this time with 429bhp!
Classic cars are definitely not famous for hitting high speeds, but this modern classic can hit "60mph in a claimed 4.5 seconds", according to PistonHeads.com, while heading for a top speed on the far side of 160mph.
Lifted from the past and re-designed to meet the demands of today's motoring – that's the modern version of the classic Jensen Interceptor S.

Classics of english literature?
how do you describe the writing style of these authors
Herman Melville especially Moby Dick
Charles Dickens
Thomas Hardy and finally Tolkien
what i need is a thorough good explanation
Danke
hey warrior it IS NOIt a homework
i would say that they write in a perspective that's quite voyeuristic
its like they are looking into the scene and describing from what they see
Tolkien from what i've heard lived during a war (i forget which one) so the writing of the lord of the rings trilogy was affected by his environment
Charles Dickens in his books wrote about society and portrayed the issues in society through his story
ex. Ebeenezer Scrooge (wealth vs. poverty)
essentially how greed can corrupt the senses and make you forget about whats important in life
Herman Melville (i don't really know too much about this one)
but he wrote moby dick and was trying to portray something epic,
during his life the book wasn't popular ,and to this day i don't see whats so great about it.
But I guess you can connect the three writing styles of these authors by how they wrote in connection with the society they lived in and portrayed societal ills and problems through the plots of their stories
I hope this helps
good luck!
