Which of these 3 writing books is the best?
I'm a freshman college student. I'm looking for a good writing book to keep in my library for reference. I've read good reviews of 3 books, all written by Diana Hacker. "The Bedford Handbook", "Rules for Writers", and "A Writer's Reference". Which one is more recommended? Which one of the 3 would you recommend? Please give explanation. I would like it if professors and students who have tried them help.
Oh Bedford for sure. I really like the whole line of Bedford stuff, really, really solid and well put together.
